Qualification and Experience:

  • Teaching qualification (D.Ed./B.Ed./B.P.Ed./or equivalent)

  • At least 3 years of teaching experience of teaching primary classes would be desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

As a teacher your key responsibilities are to

  • Facilitate the development of children with diverse backgrounds, interests and abilities through participative classroom processes

  • Encourage active discovery and independent learning

  • Achieve curricular objectives for each child

  • Participate in and build school processes

Skills and Attributes:

  • Understand of subject and pedagogy

  • Passion for education and social change

  • Openness to learn

  • Being analytical and reflective

  • Ability to work in teams

  • Commitment to quality

Azim Premji Schools:

Our first set of schools began operations in mid-2012 and are located in the following states (districts): Uttrakhand (Uddhamsinghnagar, Uttarkashi), Rajasthan (Tonk, Sirohi), Karnataka (Yadgir) and Chattisgarh (Dhamtari).

Recruitment Events

 

Our next online test for Schoolteachers & Resource Persons is on 30-Sep-2023 (Saturday). Apply before 23-Sep-2023 

For shortlisted candidates, the written tests will be conducted in a digital mode or physical, where required. Those facing difficulties with digital access will get a chance to do the test physically at test centers in multiple locations where feasible. The results of the most recently held tests will be shared on the participants registered email ids. Respective state teams will also get in touch with selected candidates for the next step of interviews.
