People Partner, People Function – Dehradun


Job Purpose:

To be the HR point of contact for all employees and people managers in the State, and be responsible for people processes across the employee life cycle

Job Summary:

The main job responsibilities for this position are as below:

  • Support integration and assimilation of new members of the State into the team and organization

  • Facilitate clarity on roles and responsibilities of members in the team

  • Ensure awareness of people policies, benefits & processes; feedback for policy improvements

  • Identify and support relevant people interventions in the State, with the concerned team leads, unit heads and the central HR, for improved employee engagement and retention

  • Facilitate various organization-wide people processes like Performance Management in all locations across the State

  • Play a key role in setting the organizational culture & values in all locations in the State

Qualification and experience:

  • MBA in Human Resource (Full time)/ MHRM/ PG Diploma in HR

  • 6 – 8 years’ experience

  • Prior work experience in the social sector or in education will be an added advantage

Skills and attributes:

  • Openness to travel - this role will require travel of 10 days a month

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering team work and a collaborative work culture

  • Deep interest in working for social change and in the education domain

  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

  • Should be proficient in MS Office
