The Azim Premji Foundation libraries provide reference and circulation access to popular and relevant Journals, books, films, internet resources and online journals and databases to all its members for educational purposes only. This covers a wide range of subject areas like economics, sociology, philosophy, political science, psychology, literature and domains like education, health, governance, livelihoods and environment and ecology. A member of any one of our libraries has access to all our library resources in all locations.
Our District and Block level libraries are conceptualized as Library and Activity Centers, where members are part of a community of learners, who contribute pro actively to knowledge building. This community includes teachers, education functionaries, social change agents and the community at large. Knowledge events like book reading, panel discussion, expert lectures, film shows, interaction forums and a wide range of lively fun and learning activities for children and adults are held regularly at the Library and Activity Centers The Library also provides referral and user services to researchers and educationists on a range of subjects of interest to them.
Our members can use our document delivery services (for copies of articles and reports), inter library loan services ( or books held in collections in other library locations) and photocopying facilities within the ambit of copyright rules.
All our libraries provide access to internet and computer workstations to our members to enable them to use all our digital and e- resource collections.
