Azim Premji Foundation invites applications from early-stage, not-for profit organizations based in Madhya Pradesh.

The Foundation seeks to enable early-stage organizations to experiment and succeed with the programme ideas / plans, strengthen the organizational and financial systems and processes, and establish a proof of concept of the programmes within the grant period.

Who are eligible to apply

• Organisations which are under 3 years since their registration (registered under Societies / Trust / Section 8 company) as on 31st of December 2023.
• Having 12A, and with an average expenditure of 25 lakh or less.
• Organizations having direct engagement with a vulnerable or marginalized community.  

Grant period and sizing

The grant award will be for a period of three years and based on the experience and commitment of founder/s, past record of work in communities (voluntary or otherwise), and vulnerability / need of the communities they work with.  

Who are not eligible

• Organizations working directly on interventions in education, health, and core-livelihood.

(For example, an organization running schools or coaching centres for children of vulnerable communities, or running health centres in interior or backward areas, or working on livelihood as their core programme.)
