Commonwealth Human Rights Institute (CHRI) was founded in 1993 as a society working on police and prison reforms, access to information, and media rights. CHRI empowers the marginalised by improving access to justice and increasing accountability- by monitoring institutions, ensuring effective representation, building the capacity of stakeholders, removing implementation gaps, advocacy, and reporting.
