A 5 day induction programme was conducted for 40 BRTs who will be posted to schools as TGTs soon. The 5 day programme started with general sessions followed by subject sessions. In the general sessions the topics were, The Aims of Education and How Children learn and National Curriculum Framework, in subject sessions the topics were the Nature of the subjects, Objectives of teaching the subject, the link between Curriculum, Syllabus and Textbook, Teaching methodologies, planning a lesson, assessment and evaluation.
