Have you heard about the ‘Three wise monkeys’? Did you know, a set of 3 dolls that represented the ‘three wise monkeys’ were also part of Mahatma Gandhi’s humble personal possessions. What story do these dolls teach us? Please listen to the song in the link below to learn and understand its meaning.

Dear Teachers and Parents- This song will be relevant for primary children. You can teach this song with simple actions and the children would love it. A small discussion can be done with them after you have taught this song- what would happen if we speak, see and/or listen to evilwhat can we do to avoid it? can be some of the simple questions to start with. Allow the children to take over and talk what they think can be done. You can make a poster on what was discussed and paste it on your classroom wall. Encourage the kids to make a beautiful art around it.

Dear Head teachers- this song can be taught in your school assembly; it would be a great experience to listen to the whole school singing this song with action. Each student can be encouraged to take an oath to not speak, see and listen to evil. Let this song encourage all of us to also imbibe this value in our life and make this world a better place.
