The theme, ‘Teasing Animals’ in Grade 2 poem, ‘Zoo Manners’ has been explored through a simple story ‘Helping Friends’.

Story cards (ENG202B): After the narration, the story cards can be used as a reading material for the students. Get students into groups. Jumble the story cards and ask each group to sequence them and read the story.
Describing an animal (Worksheet) (ENG202D): Students are asked to draw and describe an elephant, with the teacher providing support. Further, they can choose any animal and describe it. In the end, teacher can collect all the students’ works and create an animal album. A teacher guide has also been provided for this worksheet.
