School Level Science Exhibition – GPS Sulthanpet

Our school level science exhibition was grandly conducted on 29.08.2018 by the teachers and students.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. M.G. Robert Kennedy, DIS-Zone-IV, Villianur. He delivered a beautiful and inspiring felicitation speech, visited all the exhibits and appreciated the students and teachers., in charge of the school, Mrs. Jasima Begam, SMC president and Mr. Bhasir Ahamed, SMC member presided over the function. One of the school teachers, Mrs. Sivapakiavathy addressed them with a welcome speech. There were 136 exhibits in the form of demonstrative models, interactive learning models, working models and self-explanatory displays covering the themes of food, animals, plants, human body, solar system, earth atmosphere and on other daily life activities. These exhibits were presented by students from LKG to grade V. Each student presented a detailed explanation of their exhibits. Parents, school teachers of the nearby schools and other school students visited the exhibition. Visitors praised the students’ exhibits and encouraged them. The students were evaluated and  each class was rewarded with three prizes as a token of encouragement.

The school-in-charge Mr. M. Ramakrishnan and teachers Mrs. S. Sivapakiavathy, Mrs. G. Gomathy, Mrs. D. Vijayalakshmi, Mrs. B. Kayathri, Mrs. S. Manimegalai, Mrs. V. Kanagam, Mrs. T. Kumudha, Mrs. E. Mouttouselvy and Mrs. K. Minatchy made all arrangements for the science exhibition. From the science exhibition, students learned a lot of science concepts, science truths, theories and simple science experiments. All the children participated and enjoyed the function. The exhibition ended with a vote of thanks.
