Activity 1: Using Ones and Tens cards

This is a supporting activity for the exercises given in the book, from page numbers 112 to 114 and page number 117. Here, as a value-adding to the book activity, tens and ones card are provided to the students, and they are asked to add numbers based on the instructions provided in the lesson plan.

Activity 2: Using Ganithmala and Beads.

This activity can be employed to address the open-ended questions, which acts as a supporting activity for the book sums given in page 120. The students can find many possibilities for addends and subtrahends for the sums using a Ganithmala. The students can decide the answer, having come up with many possibilities, and can explore a sum more.
